Heading down to Bryce Canyon we were reminded that we were in the land of fossil fuels.

This guy was pointing the way to snacks, showers...and adventure!

And here's what we found...more crazy rocks!

The Girl thought they might look more normal upside down...

Instead they just looked more like orange cream-sicles.

Pointy, ouchy, orange cream-sicles.

Taking shelter once more...this time from the heat.

Those little dots to the right are tourists on the Navajo trail.

See that little crack down there between the rocks?

Not so little as it turns out.

In fact, entire trees grow inside there.

This tree had developed a split personality.

Which one of these things is not like the other?

The canyon goes on for a ways.

This tree is hundres of years old.

Its guarded by this squirrel...true story...oh wait, no it's not.
