Firefly/Spirit of the Century Plot Cards

I got the idea for Spirit of the Century/FATE plot cards from the FATE Yahoo Group. At one point Fred Hicks posted a number of game aides for a Call of Cthulhu/FATE conversion, including a series of Plot Cards. I thought this was a great idea so I decided to steal it for my Firefly game.

I deal out two Plot Cards to each player when I run my Firefly/SotC game at conventions.

Each card has:

a quote from the series

a goal or subplot

a reward (gain 1 Big Damn Hero Point)

Throughout the game I'll give the players a chance to frame their own scenes, in order to try to fulfill one of goals on Plot Cards. A couple cards just have quotes that the characters need to say. If they do, they gain their FATE point.

Printing:

There are two PDF files available. Each is 3 pages long. One is designed to be printed on Avery 8871 double sided business cards. The other has crop marks included in case you want to print the cards on regular card stock and cut them yourself.

Make sure 'Page Scaling' is set to 'None' in Adobe Reader otherwise your cards won't line up correctly with the pre-cut business cards.

Also, don't print the entire document since the last page is intended to be the back of all the other pages.
